Real Radio Interview

Wednesday, 3rd March 2010

Leon was a special guest on Real Radio ahead of the Bring £1 To Work Day 2010.
Leon took time out to support Scottish charity, CHAS.

With the generosity of listeners across Central Scotland, you have helped Real Radio raise over £225,000 for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), supporting children with life-limiting conditions.

Why Support CHAS?
CHAS is the only organisation in Scotland currently providing children’s hospice care. The CHAS at Home service is based in Inverness and provides care to families in their own homes, whilst Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch are used by children and families for short planned breaks throughout the year.

Both hospices are vibrant and life affirming – a home from home. Far from being sad places, they are wonderfully enriching celebrations of every child and young person’s potential and of life itself, however short that may be.

Hi Leon

It’s great to know that you are supporting such a wonderful Chaity as CHAS.

I remember your visit to Great Ormond Street a couple of years ago and how moving you found it.
I am sure you will have made every one of those children feel very special today. I saw the photos from your visit to Rachel House earlier and was
very touched by them.

Looking forward to hearing your radio interview
as I hear you were lining up the funnies as usual.  LOL

I didn’t hear the radio programme as I live down in Lincolnshire but it’s so good that you are behind such a meaningful charity and helping to raise the awareness. xXx
