Headliner @ Watchet Live Festival

LEON Jackson, winner of the X-Factor 2007, is to make a guest appearance at this year’s Watchet Live Festival Leon has recently divided his time between visiting Glasgow, London and LA as he writes new material and develops a new, acoustic-driven sound.

The event runs from Friday, August 26 to Sunday, August 28 and features over 40 live acts across four stages.

This year’s festival features its biggest ever line up and features a host of new activities and events.

Three internationally renowned acts have already been announced as headliners; legendary festival veterans Dreadzone, Britpop heroes Dodgy and infamous Somerset cider drinkers The Wurzels.

For those who like more than just music from their festivals, Watchet Live features a ‘comedy hour’ event with funny men Chris Topping, Jordan Brooks and Stephen O’Neil.

A festival-owned bar will sell a wide range of drinks at ‘cheaper than pub prices’ for those essential tipples, while a kid’s corner and festival market cater to younger music fans.

This year’s festival charity is The Children’s Hospice South West.

Weekend tickets with camping cost £50 for adults and £30 for youths (13 to17-year-olds). Under 12’s get in free.

A family ticket for two adults and two youths costs £110.

Weekend tickets without camping are priced at just £40 for adults and £20 for youths.

Day tickets cost £15 per day for adults and £10 for youths.
