Bring A £ To Work 2011

Thursday, 17th February 2011

This year Real Radio, Scotland’s biggest commercial radio station, is once again supporting one of Scotland’s most loved charities, CHAS.

Real Radio’s Bring A £ To Work Day will take place on Thursday 3rd March.

Last year Leon showed his support by visiting the CHAS kids and families:
“Spending quality time with these inspiring people was a real honour - it really does bring perspective to your own situation. I love the ethos of this charity and want to see all involved acknowledged and commended for there amazing work”.

Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) is a Scottish charity committed to providing hospice services for children and young people with life limiting conditions and their families.

Sadly, hundreds of Scottish families are facing the fact that their child will not live to be an adult.

CHAS runs the only children’s hospices in Scotland, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch. Also, the CHAS at Home team offer support to families across Scotland in their own homes when they need it.

CHAS provides professional care, practical help and emotional support to the whole family, usually from the day of acceptance to the death of their child and beyond.

These services are free of charge to children, young people and families who need them but it costs CHAS over £5 million each year to run Rachel House, Robin House and the CHAS at Home service.

Show your support to CHAS.
