I know a few people have mentioned this already, but just in-case anyone didn’t know…
Leon will be switching on Hull’s Christmas lights this Thursday (20th November).

“This year Hull’s Christmas lights will be switched on by Santa, the Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber Cllr Elaine Garland and X Factor winner Leon Jackson.

Sam and Mark from Viking FM and Darren Lethem from Magic 1161 will be in Victoria Square from 5pm, warming up the audience with music and games. There will also be live music from the Saturdays and Leon Jackson.”

No, its Sam and Mark who are on the local radio. I generally want to punch them, they feel it necessary to go round all the high schools and give a hip-and-happening talk on s-e-x and the like.

Iv seen the saturdays perform when i went to watch Girls Aloud at Elton Hall… they were soo good....

i was going to go and see Leon.... but my sister is ill soo i can’t go… :(

i was soo upset… ii wanted to see Leon soo much, i love him…

i was meant to be going to see him turn the Birmingham Crimbo lights on too… but i couldnt in the end.... :(

soo i went and watched Laura White turn the ones on in Peterborough :D ... ii love her soo much… she shud not of left 2 weeks ago...:(

hope Leon turns on more lights soon… and that mi sis aint ill when he does ....lol…

Sorry its taken so long, the internet was down when I got back last night so couldn’t get online.

Leon was fabbbbb!!! He sang Don’t Call This Love, Creative and When You Believe and got a far warmer reception than our idiot mayor who was booed.

Anyone has any questions just ask, my brain isn’t working for a detailed description!

Leon was amazing! He came out with his pineapple juice, and said that he hoped that everyone was ok and he said thank you for coming to the light switch on and standing in the cold.... aww bless him!

Like Tigeress he sang Dont Call This Love, Creative and When you believe, and of course was amazing! And when he’d finished the presenters came back out, and Leon said he was having trouble seeing over the balcony!! Awww… x

Just at the end lots of people came to join Leon when he switched on the lights, and Santa came out and Leon got really excited, and gave him a really big hug!! I could see him sweet smile from where I was stood!

I had an incredible night, I wish it could happen all over again…
