]]>I woke up at 4am and peeped out to see it snowing it continued to snow untill about 11am then the horrid sun came out and melted it all which was pretty boring as now the christmas decs have all come down and been packed away it kind of cheered what is usually a dull boring January up making it look all christmassy again which is what I love so much about the snow…
At least I got to wear my new wellies in it before it melted away Lol

Woolworths held sales through Xmas period
The shops had been due to shut today but administrators agreed to the extra 24 hours so outlets could get rid of every bit of stock.
On Saturday, another 200 stores went through the same upheaval after being scheduled to close their doors for the last time on Friday.
Deloitte had pushed the closures back so the company would not be lumbered with left over items.
Most of the UK stores have already closed, with at least 150 of the retailer’s 807 outlets holding their last day of trading on December 30.
Everything, including the fixtures and fittings, went on sale at discount prices.
The chain, which outlived its US parent by more than 10 years, was already foundering when the credit crunch and sharp downturn in consumer spending finally toppled it in November.
The firm’s collapse left 27,000 workers facing redundancy.
Deloitte has held talks with other retailers to take on the leases of around 300 Woolworths stores and hopes to sell off the Ladybird children’s clothes and Chad Valley toy brands.

How is it Brown’s fault woolies has gone bust blame the poor short sighted management for the collapse of woolies and the fact the public did not care about woolies if they did they would have gone in there and paid through the nose for goods,my thoughts are with the staff not woolies itself.
This should never have happend,this so called government spends more time lookin after foreiners in this country than its own people.Ifeel sad for all the staff at woolies that have been so sadly let down and hope that GORDEN BROWN one day will open his mince pies and see wot is goin on in this country.Good luck to all the staff who are now unemployd,hope 2009 is a better year.

Roberts has since released an album on Simon Cowell’s record label but believes that the music mogul offered him more creative freedom than Jackson.
“In hindsight, not winning has probably been the best thing because it has given me more freedom to develop my career as I want to,” he told Derby’s Evening Telegraph newspaper. “I just felt at the time I had let a lot of people down, and myself, by not winning.”
The 25-year-old is now making preparations for his forthcoming UK tour, which begins in April.
“I love playing to a live audience, feeling that instant feedback and I just can’t wait for the tour to start,” he explained. “Right now, I feel like I am the luckiest person around and I am living my lifetime’s dream.”

Personally, I think Jade Goody should be somewhere on there, but I think with her recent cancer battle they decided it wouldn’t be appropriate. Jonathan Ross would have been nice to see as well. Definitely Bex and Luke should have been higher, they irritate me so much!!
