Hi everyone, me again!

A quick update from me to you all!

I had a pretty busy week last week - more shoots and going into Sony and listening to the latest mixes of the music and talkin through the album tracks and choosing photos for the cover. I’ve just finished writin my ‘thanks’ for the album which was really surreal - he he!

I can’t believe X factor is back again - this time last year I was in bootcamp! I think Cheryl is amazin and its good to see how they are all getting on! I feel so nervous for everyone on there now - I know exactly what they must all be going through and its really scary but exciting at the same time for them. I wanna watch a few more episodes before I talk about it too much - I’m hooked now the show is back on though!

I’m still making up my mind about album titles - I’ve got a few favorites but I’ll decide while I’m on holiday this week and let you know when I’m back. I’m away this week having a break before it gets even busier so ill write as soon as I’m back.

Danielle – What do u do in ur spare time?

Leon - I do loads of different things Danielle - going out of course with mates but if im at home I love playing guitar, chillin out and playin computer, I’ve just bought Heroes Boxset too - and I love that! I really like taking photographs because I did photography at college.

Webby – what do u think of Cheryl cole being the new judge? Do you think Sharon Osbourne was better?

Leon - I love Cheryl she is so funny and really genuine and honest and of course stunning! I think she will make a great mentor too. I really liked Sharon too - they are so different you can’t compare them in that way I don’t think.

Jess – What’s Michael Bublé really like?

Leon - Michael is really great guy and its always so good to catch up with him. He’s been so supportive of me all through the show and still now. Sometimes it’s a bit crazy when I hear a song back or walk into Sony and they are playing the music, I have to remind myself its me.

Charlee – Do you like living in London?

Leon - Hi Charlee - I love living in London, I do miss home occasionally but I know I need to be here for work for now. I go back and see everyone when I can. I like exploring in London and theres loads of new things to do.

Ingrid – If you wern’t a singer what would you be?

Leon - I’d be an architect, definitely.

Elle – What do you miss most about Scotland

Leon - I’d say probably my friends, my mum and my gran are people I miss most, Elle.

Emmie – Who are your favourite singers (apart from Bublé, lol)?

Leon - Hey Emmie, I like loads of different singers Emmie - James Morrison, Paulo Nutini, and Ben Harper I just started listening to and his music I really like.

I don’t really have any gossip this week, but would like to take this opportunity to really answer some individuals. Jus wanna say thankyou so much to everyone for your kind words of encouragement & lovely poems, verses & little sayings! It really means a lot knowing that u guys are proud of me!

Big hello to Danielle H, jus wanna say I’m not sure but I’ve been to the main beach & massive swingpark in Ayrshire. My mum used to take me on the bus trip when I was younger!! LOL (when I was 16, LOL joking). Big hello to Cara, Chelsea Marie, Shauna (thanks for being honest) & Stephanie Heather. Wanna say hiya to Heidi - P.s buy some tablet when ur in Scotland, it’s like fudge but sugary! It’s lovely, tell me wot u think? Big hello to Dorothea (who’s bonkers but I love her LOL) nice to hear from u, p.s I used to work in Iceland!!

Hey everyone, catch-up time again. Hope u all have been enjoying the Leon In London videos, I had great fun making them for you guys! Last week I done a fashion shoot for new fashion magazine - I can’t tell you much about it because the launch is secret but it’s really exiting. I posed in a few different set ups, one included 3 scantily clad very beautiful ladies. I think I took this in my stride...you’ll certainly smile when you see the photos

Also I have been looking over & selecting images for the album cover which has been very exciting. I have also been in the creative process of selecting an album title & I would love for u guys to get involved, so feel free to write in with ur ideas! Also been in the studio, putting the final touches to my album due in October. This week I would like to say hello to Catalina! To answer ur Q’s - I’m not goin to continue @ University bcos I love music so much and need to give it 110% of me - the album style is quite modern & singer/songwriterish with some modern elements of jazz - I can’t wait for you all to hear it.

Finally, I would like to say a big hello to Debbie from Irvine, Ayrshire. I was really touched by ur message (I was actually in tears) I think u are extremely brave & u have my deepest condolences. Time is the best healer hun & all I can say is try to remember & cherish the good/happy times u had with them. Thanku so much 4 ur kind words, all my love Leon x x Thanku to everyone who commented this week!! Really means alot. X

Hey everyone!

That’s me back in London town after being home in Scotland for a wee while seeing my Mum, Gran & Friends.

As you all know I was very lucky to have duetted with Michael Bublé on Saturday, which was amazing!!! I will be uploading some pics of him & I from Glasgow SECC & also from the last time in Wembley. I will also add a few extra pics that I have been snapping along the way since being in London & Wales.

I just wanna say I have the most fun blogging for you guys & I really do read every single comment. It would be impossible to reply to each & every one of them (which I would love to do btw), therefore each time that I blog I am gonna reply to a select few, so I can get to know you’s better & stay more connected!

So firstly, I would like to say a big hello to little Matt, who I got to meet at Glasgow SECC! Thank you soooo much for your kind words in ur comment, it makes my job even more worthwhile knowing that I can be an inspiration & make people happy so thank you!

The video blog - Leon In London - will be uploaded in four parts, taking you through the journey of London with me, & I will be answering fan questions along the way. I will try my very best, also, to continuously upload photos that I have taken on my digital camera as part of Leon’s Snapshots.  Anyways, can’t stop gotta go to Tesco & do a ‘Big shop’ cos my fridge is empty from being away lol.

I went to see Michael Bublé perform at the SECC in Glasgow as part of my mum’s birthday gift. It was an amazing night and it was an amazing performance.

I managed to meet up with him before the show – he took photos with us and he signed my programme and introduced himself to my mum (she was in her element). It was then that he asked me to sing a tune with him and during the performance he pulled me out of the audience and we performed a duet of his hit single ‘Lost’. I felt really honoured and privileged as this was the 2nd time he’d invited me to perform alongside him.

The Glasgow crowd were absolutely amazing and it was fantastic to return to my home stage – the first time since February! Afterwards I hung out with him for a while and he gave me a black trilby hat as a gift – this topped my night off!…

Since last speaking to u all, I have done the photo shoot for the album cover with a top fashion photographer which was absolutely amazing. I got to go outside & worked with different props n stuff & I was pouting all day LOL.

I also done my first magazine shoot & interview the other day for a big monthly magazine. We went along to this amazing vintage-looking warehouse & got some really cool shots so look out for that one too – I’ll let you know when it comes out.

On Wednesday I performed at a racehorse event in great Yarmouth. It was my first outside gig & I had the most fun!! & some of my local fans from back home who were there on hol gave me some Scottish flags which was lovely.

I’m really enjoying it here in London so I thought I’d make a few videos to show you around some of my favourite places. Hope you enjoy them – here’s my first one!

Hey everyone! Gossip time again.

Since last speaking to you guys I’ve been going concert crazy and have been to see Shayne Ward, Gavin Degraw and the mighty Boyzone. I’m a secret fan of ‘No matter what they tell you’ LOL.
Shayne Ward performed at the O2 and my people from the record company kindly invited me along. It was absolutely packed and was amazing!
Gavin Degraw - who sings the theme tune to One Tree Hill and is one of my biggest musical influences - played at the Shepherds Bush Empire and I even got to meet him. He was such a nice guy, he even signed my album, I’m such a fan LOL. 
I also watched Boyzone play to a packed 02 and I was singing along to all the oldies… yes I WAS waving my arms in the air… So! Hee.
All of these shows are setting an example for me for when it comes time for me to do my own concert. 

I also got to go round London recently, and visit all the sights shooting an extended video blog. It was really fun to do & there are some surprises along the way so keep tuning in to check that out. I’m sure you’ll have a wee giggle as well. 

I am really honoured to be attending this years Glamour awards tonight, which is a huge event & I am really excited about seeing some top celebs. I’ll probably be like a kid at Christmas when I see them. And who knows, hopefully Emma Rigby ‘Hannah from Hollyoaks’ will be there!

Most importantly I am still working hard on the album & have been songwriting and working on my own material.

Hey everyone. Gossip time again. Woo hoo. Since last speaking to u all I’ve been really busy working on the album & it’s really taking shape now. I’ve had a try at a couple of interesting covers aswell and still working on the originals too.

Andy Williams & I are now ‘roomies’ and have moved into a lovely apartment together. It’s absolutely amazing, and scary, but I luv it. I think he’s secretly got a ‘man crush’ on me LOL. It was really fun viewing the flats, however in one place, I got a special surprise when I walked in on the couple who lived in the flat havin a proper ‘snuggle time’ if u know what I mean. It was priceless and embarrasing, like something you see in the movies LOL. Let’s jus say I never went for that flat in the end.

I’ve been loving the sunshine we’ve been getting here in London and have been soaking up the rays from my balcony overlooking the Thames! Last week I had a few gigs, one was for the 2nd birthday party for a newspaper called First News which was hosted by Piers Morgan, who judges Britains Got Talent. Part of which took place in Downing St where I got to see the prime minister, Gordon Brown - fellow Scot - woo! I felt like Sebastian from ‘Little Britain’ (flick of the hair) LOL.

Hey everybody, gossip time again.

Been off for a wee break visiting Wales & kickin’ it with the Newport boys. Had a great time & done lots of great stuff. Including goin 4 a spin in a porche 911 turbo, oh yeh !! & playing Xbox & playststation 3. Andy is such a sore loser LOL! I will try & update some pics of my time in Newport for u guys to see.

Before the trip to Wales, I had a few days in London recording and went to a concert for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Albert Hall. Paul Weller and the lovely Duffy both did live sets! Duffy’s songs blew me away especially the song Syrup and Honey which was an absolutely fantastic vocal.

Unfortunately I have been poorly this past week, caught a wee bug so been doctoring myself up. And I just remembered I whooped Andy wen we played tennis LOL. Don’t tell him I told u but he plays like a jessie hee. Gonna be back in the studio @ the start of next week again getting stuck in & working hard.

Hey everyone

Its that time again. Blog time. The X Factor tour is sadly over, finishing not long ago in Wembley where it was an amazing show, nite was quite emotional. Was home in bonnie Scotland for a wee while & was re-aquainted with my fish suppers and Irn Bru! Woo hoo. No rest for the wicked tho, that’s me straight back in the studio getting back on with the album, which is a long, but very exciting process! A canny wait until the record hits the shelves. Also I would like to take this opportunity to wish Leona a special congratulations on her recent U.S success getting no.1 – that was amazing & very inspiring. U go girrrl!
